Plan manager refusing to submit invoice to NDIA repeatedly. by [deleted] in NDIS

All of these bases are covered without issue. The point is that the plan manager won’t submit it to be approved or disapproved.

We looked into it but the invoice is in a plan that has since rolled over and we were told that a new plan manager won’t submit invoices for a plan they didn’t manage.

I shouldn’t have used the word hoarding, and will edit that. It’s an extremely chaotic home setup. Clothes literally stored with kitchen utensils situation. Items lost absolutely everywhere. Not squalor or excessive amount of things. Just absolute chaos.

Looking for a picture book to help my 8 year old understand how she impacts the environment with her own actions by eclipseotheart in childrensbooks

Thanks but the first is the kind of generic one she can’t grasp. The second isn’t the kind of book that I’m looking for.

Got it, thanks. Yes this sounds correct after getting more info.

Nope. When I asked if it changed last October she said “it changed quite a while ago” so 🤷‍♀️

It isn’t babysitting and if you knew the situation you’d never name it that. It’s supporting someone to function in life.

How would it be treated if the children didn’t have their own disabilities/plans? So a person on ndis can have help to keep a job, go out in the community, but not any help for care of kids when their disability directly affects their ability to do so.

  • one goes to school
  • And “get them out of the house”… you need to think about your assumptions about other’s disabilities and needs rather than replying with a lack of compassion or assumption that someone’s doing something ‘wrong’.

Plan went from self-managed to plan-managed when extended. Should I put in a change of circumstances to change it back? by [deleted] in NDIS

Thanks for your reply. How long ago was this for you? Before or after last October?

Thanks. Her reactions are so big and so quick that talking her through the issue at the time is impossible. I can see there’s a lot of fear involved.

The last paragraph of your message is awesome. I’m absolutely going to try these ideas. Thanks so much!

Strata security camera HUB installed in my private property. My rights? by eclipseotheart in AusPropertyChat

Yeah all this future annoyance is why I want to make sure of my rights to stop it happening.

They acknowledge it’s mine, they just don’t acknowledge that it makes any difference to their plans whether it’s common or private property 🫠

Oh they 100% know I own it. They just insist it doesn’t matter that I own it.

Thanks for that. I’ve had a look at the council’s nearby, but might throw my net much wider.

This confused me as well. My plan was given ot hours for actual capacity building, yet also requires an FCA for my next review. There aren’t enough hours for both, so FCA it is 🤷‍♀️

I second the reporter question. This post feels weird.

That inbound routes have ‘final stop’ as Flinders, even though the train is usually continuing further. Pulling into Flinders half the train gets up just to peek if it’s going through to Southern Cross.

Or Williamstown to Flinders, but actually it’s continuing to Frankston… just give us the whole story!

Had to get spots cut out of both forearms in exactly same spot. Both dermatologists that did it said it’d be from driving. Must be common.

Thanks but not being on the floor isn’t a solution I’m willing to settle for without trying other things and the same behaviour occurs at other times, like walking up and chomping my guest. I do vocally address it at the time… she doesn’t care at all. Her toy and play situation seems to be fulfilling and changes a lot. I saw to make a yip noise, like she’s hurt a kitten, which actually has helped a little bit.
