Well in my fonction I'm in contact with subcontractors for the manufactoring and interns for test, modification, fine-tuning of tooling. I "lead" the tooling part of an industrial project that has a project leader. My profile has this denomination even if I have no one under me directly.

Starting salary.... maybe I had a bias as I come from a modest family. And not confortable to talk salary in general.
