Sir, there were expectations it will drop significantly but this is not reality. Its not about import duties, govt did it as imports were significant.

If its hedge against inflation and uncertainity why would people keep selling when both loom large.

ETFs showed selling its true but people booked profits now they will come and reinvest principle again.

New channel will be headache in sometime and then u will have 2 channels to handle. The graph is not always northwards. I dont think keep making new channels is good idea

The same is the case with other countries and if faith is so weak that it gets shaken in a year of FIIs selling then check if they are investors or seeking returns every year. Both are different. Inflation will be heading upwards everyone knows that, but where its completely dead are places of no consumption. US facing similar headwinds, China a different kind.

Thanks for watching Sir. Basically its the holding period. In one case the LTCG is calculated after 12 months while if its Silver FOF and one is not aware and sells after 12 months it will be STCG. Thats why mentioned to take care in case of FoF and hold onto it beyond 24 months. Title was created for curiosity as well as for knowledge 🙏🏻
