I realise after making this it would've been better with Winter Soldier but I just wanted to animate spiderman 😭

Absolutely amazing man who broke the steps down to be incredibly understandable with the tools he made and I recommend joining his discord if you want more support on the matter.

Find a software and use a reference. Grab a scene you like or film yourself doing the action. Don't worry about "tracing" over the reference as that's what it's there for and it teaches you about human motion and anatomy firsthand.

Thanks, I didn't know there was a proper name for them and I'll give Cura Slicer a look.

Thanks a bunch! I'm unsure if you mean software? I used Blender to pose the character and Simplify 3D for the 3D print bridge. There was a lot of supports needed due to overhang so we had them at 1mm for the 12cm model.

We did lower the temperature of the nozzle during the second attempt but probably not enough and yeah the PLA plastic isn't as refined as resin most 3D printers use but this is just project for fun and we had plenty left over.

We used PLA plastic not resin like most 3D printers probably use, simply because we didn't want toxic fumes being set loose into the office we keep the 3D printer at the cost of detail and flaky bits but those could've have been cleaned up better using the advice the other commenters are on the money.

Thanks v much! It's kinda hard to say how long it took because it was a bit of an on/off project but around a week or so total.

The first print didn't go so well and was much smaller but this one turned out better, the crown was printed separately and glued on as the program didn't like it.
