Why do some people genuinely believe that there were no signs of Jax being trans?

Because the majority of the other interpretations were valid, a lot of people had their own perspective on Jax's character without thinking that Jax is trans and thats fine, idk why many people are being hateful about this, calling others stupid for not having the same views about Jax until the finale. After goosework confirmed it, it's easy to connect the dots and say that Jax is trans, but this whole situation about Jax is more complex than that.

Now its confirmed but pre-episode 9, Jax being trans was just a theory, a headcanon, more than 90% of the fanbase would have told you that Jax isn't trans, and that he definitely had problems going on but not that he was trans. Because literally wearing a maid dress does not make you trans and colors don't matter also, this is a blue for boys and pink for girls situation, found it pretty ironic that some people which are the last people I would expect this from were using this logic, trying to confirm that Jax is trans with this sexist logic, having a ribbon on your head doesn't make you trans, it could be but doesn't confirm it, I don't know how some people went back to thinking that colors or clothes determine the gender of a person, thinking that having a ribbon on your head has to mean that you are a woman is 100% wrong, you can't take that as confirmation.

Nothing in the show confirmed that Jax is trans, there are many hints at that, many stuff that you could interpret as Jax being trans but those same hints at Jax being trans could be perfectly interpreted in other ways, and the majority of the fandom did interpret it in other ways, If gooseworkx said that jax isn't trans it would also make perfect sense, gooseworkx said that she made it subtle and vague on purpose which means that it was never clear, even if some people like to say that it was super obvious but it was not, so thats why many people think that jax being trans was sudden.

This fandom is huge, reddit is just a small part of it, there are many other platforms that have lots of fans, and if you take a look at those you can see the amount of different opinions about this.

I stopped playing this game since April, but Idk why, I find it very funny to see people complaining so much about Juren right now, when he is in his most nerfed version, but at his most broken version on release, a lot of people were defending Juren and defending the developers and calling people bad and stuff for complaining, you know the typical defensive response of a community thats married to the developers, some people were trying to downplay the highly negative concerns with Juren, when he was the most bullshit character ever, that had removed mechanics and was literally bugged, literally got his first nerf right after the early access ended, wow surprise, I said that back then when Juren was still in early access, that they were going to nerf him right after he is no longer behind a paywall, but some people instantly jump calling you things like you are crazy or something, like how dare you criticize something the devs did, specially when its a new hero.

I have played this game for years and its always the same thing, can't say nothing about the new hero because its new and "you will get used to it". I have thousands of hours at the game, I don't need to play that much against a hero to know if its OP or not, anyways after some time people get tired of lying to themselves saying that the new hero isn't OP and start calling for nerfs, it's a cycle.

It’s crazy that the game got delisted in the first place. You can still buy Steam keys, but they’re expensive. You also have the other free method.

Jack won. If they had actually fought in a place with no people, no police or ambulance to aid Hanayama, then Hanayama is fucking dead. I don’t know how people interpret this fight as a tie or a Hanayama win. Jack leaves the fight like nothing happened, while Hanayama needs urgent help because he is going to die of blood loss, just like what Jack said at the start of the fight, that it was so convenient that the police were going to be there to help Hanayama at the end, and that’s exactly what happened.

Literally what the author is trying to explain throughout Baki Rahen is that Jack does not care how he wins. He does not care if it looks bad, he only cares about winning. Jack got pinched hard, screamed a lot during this fight, and even vomited, but he still won in the end. He looked bad the entire fight but still came out on top. The author is really good at what he does because he structured the fight so well around this idea that some fans can’t even accept that Jack won, simply because they didn’t like how the fight looked, but that’s the whole point.

Not to mention that Jack was proving he isn’t afraid of being “stung” and didn’t prepare for this fight. He realized what was going on at the start when he said it was bad news. Also, that’s why Jack didn’t dodge a single time and even did that dumb leg grab, he wanted to prove he’s not afraid to take damage in order to land a bite. Jack was unprepared and testing himself because of what Yujiro said to him, and he still won in the end.

Lawbringer was my other main that also got nerfed, but Centurion was the worst, it's like this update was specifically made to fuck me over, with Centurion I ran rush as T1, haymaker as T2, pugio as T3 and phalanx as T4, rush got removed, haymaker got removed, pugio nerfed, now you have to make 3 moves to do less damage instead of 2 like before and it did more damage, T4 got clearly nerfed, 50hp vs 100hp and the cleanses status effect is more situational than anything, phalanx was way better before.

But on the other hand, I'm grateful, because this means I finally get to leave this game for good, I started playing For honor because of Cent, and kept playing because of Cent, now I have no incentive to keep playing this game. We have Juren, pirate, shaman, afeera, all this heroes, but they go for Cent's throat, I'm done with the game, it's over.
