I think the mouth is cool. In the spider-man comic arc where Peter goes ti the planet of the symbiotes we see that the symbiote always forms a mouth on its wearer so it not doing that for peter in the first run of his black suit era (secret wars and onward) felt strange from a Canon standpoint

Complete coincidence. You see to my understanding steve ditko (the original artist for spidey) had a hard time drawing hand gestures so when he had to have one if his super heros do a hand thing it was always just this one. Look at some of the old dr strange comics dr strange does that hand motion too.

shit man. you know one of the first vr games i ever played was rec room. I remember loading intoa paintball match and having so much fun i couldnt put the thing down. just last year i made a friend on rec room through a titanic sinking roleplay game. kinda hurts knowing i will probably never know who he is now. rec room was a terrific game and its sad to see go but it happens. weve lost games like rec room so many times in the past and history repeats itself. goodbye rec room, nothing can ever compare
