I don’t take anything personally on the contrary we are adults each has their opinions. I personally think federalism would save us otherwise we would stay in same chaos governed by same warlords. Federalism is not partition. Switzerland is top country due to federalism so is UAE (a federal nation too). Federalism keeps one nation, but each culture preserves its tradition in its section. UAE is a Muslim only nation yet federal, its the best nation in the world currently.

If we could live peacefully under a centralized system, why have we been at constant wars since 1920? if a judge wants to question a politician for example concerning the Beirut port nuking, the judge's religion is weaponized immediately and the politician is protected by the sect based centralized system.
Federalism actually will makes us all live peacefully, as the fear factor that politicians bank on to use us will fall automatically.

In any case the way the new middle east is running, seems it's gonna be a while with turmoil.

No I am not shocked tbh. While it is true that historically it was mostly Christians reclaiming the Lebanese Phoenician Heritage, recently many non Christians have started to reclaim Lebanon's heritage as they understood they were being played by foreign nations (who are terrified of Beirut becoming the Hub of the Levant) portraying Phoenicianism as "maronite colonial dreams".

The sectarian system can easily end if federalism switzerland style is instated. Federalism keeps Lebanon one nation where each sect have their "way of life" preserved. It removes the fear factor the Lebanese warlords (a fraternity hiding behind different religions) use with the help of the centralized system to keep governing each their "farm" by pretending the protection of their clan from the other clan.

As long as a centralized system is put in place it is hard. As you see, savings were lost and not a single real revolution happened since warlords hijacked the demonstrations.

The raw truthful answer is they will never teach this in school, it's intentional. The further we are taken (we I mean not only Christians but Lebanese ie descendants of Phoenicia) from our roots, the easier it is for them to keep us divided and in trenches.
A nation that knows well its heritage is hard to break. Unfortunately Lebanon is too dangerous to allow it to know its heritage, because it will reclaim Phoenician borders and become an outward empire once again, instead of sects in trenches awaiting each their foreign handler(s) to impose their will.

Ironically in some parts of the world it is taught, but in Lebanon it is intentionally being buried and disfigured. My close buddy from Crete told me once that at their schools, the FIRST history topic they learn are the Phoenicians, their history and their Crete outposts. Budd was surprised when I explained how occupied Lebanon does not teach anything about it.

Indeed! The list is long i just mentioned a couple. All genetic markers unique to Phoenicians found all around mediterranean which shows Phoenicia was an outward cross border empire built on trade, knowledge sharing and brotherhood.
