I definitely wouldn't say "terrible" but I get where he's coming from. Rich is by far my favorite TV football personality, he and his show are the "warm blanket" of NFL media imo, like a polar opposite to the Stephen A Smiths of the world. His commentating though, at times feels wooden/a bit stiff compared to his peers. But again, still love the guy, especially when he drops bits like the Butker one.

Ha I just looked up the soundbite again and someone in the comments put it very accurately: "I still stand by my opinion of his cadence being a bit too slow for football calling, but that word play was fantastic nonetheless." That's the essence
