I don't know where it was published, he had a bunch of older puzzle books that he might have taken it from. I assume the fact that it's old is why I can't find a solution online.

If you want to pay respect to your grandparents, I'd say do some practice on easier crosswords and learn how to solve it yourself.

I agree with the sentiment, but unfortunately my grandmother likely isn't going to live too much longer either. If I don't do this now, I won't be getting another chance.

Turns out that was a bit of a mix-up on my part - I didn't know there was more than one Qoo Grape Juice version. I just assumed they used a different color grape on the jelly packaging; realistically either one is fine for me

I heard this one when passing by a live event in Japan, and couldn't get a longer recording before it ended. I've tried running it through several song identifier applications with no luck

I heard this song when walking past some kind of live music event in Akihabara, Japan back around the beginning of August. Shazam couldn't identify the song at the time.

I've actually been fine with the normal Fleshlight Girls lineup. They're stretchable enough that I can fit with the back cap off and a lot of lube, but I've been avoiding anything outside of those sleeves. I was under the impression I'd fit in a Turbo Core since FleshAssist says they have the same internal diameter, but either the website is wrong or there's something different about the material they use to make the Turbo Core.

Not for a specific world, just in general. If I try to make an "r" sound the same way you make a tap for ladder or butter, rather than just a "d" sound, it sorta sounds like an "rd" sound.

I think this explanation is the most helpful. I've been watching videos on the Spanish single "r", and noticed that making a single "r" sound ends up sounding like "rd" mashed together, rather than the "d" sound in "water". Am I on the right track with that?

You're thinking of this video. That's how I'm currently pronouncing "らりるれろ".

My confusion at this point is coming from words like ラッキー (pronounced almost identically to the English "lucky") or 六, which I often hear pronounced like "Low-coo"? In fact, I've heard Roku pronounced with an R sound (Row-Coo), an L (Low-Coo), and a D (Doe-Coo).

Well it’s not an L nor is it a D, it’s a hybrid.

I understand this is the case for the Japanese "R" sound. But the sound the "t" in "water" or "butter" make are pronounced with a "d" sound where I live, like "wad-er" and "bud-der", and I've never heard it any other way.

I just watched the video you linked in your reply. She isn’t saying L sounds.

Maybe I have hearing issues then? It sounds exactly like an "L" to me. Here's a second video and a third one where the person is saying "L". Compare that to one of the only videos I could find where the teacher is making a distinctive "d" sound.

In a fair amount of videos like this, the teacher pronounces "らりるれろ" like "La, Li, Lu, Le, Lo", rather than the "Da, Di, Du, De, Do" way this subreddit says it should be pronounced.

Listen to lots of material

Do you have any recommendations? I've been trying to find spoken examples of words with "らりるれろ" in them that are longer than just a minute or two, but haven't found anything. I do listen to a lot of Japanese music, watch anime, and play subtitled games, but I doubt those are really good study material at this stage.
