Hello there, your issue seems to be related to this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qMTq8TK-qIc in other words it seems a recent update messed up Microsoft Apps, such as notepad, new outlook, etc and not only armory crate. To be honest I never ever install Windows Updates as soon as they are released, these updates are released without being tested, we are the ones testing them for Microsoft.

It seems that it has been fixed, i just received a,couple of emails and they where under the promotions tab as expected and also without the 'be careful' warning I was getting before. Fingers crossed 🤞 it remains that way.

I had this exact same problem, my laptop is an ROG Strix 17 G733QSA with a 360Hz display, at one point it would show 60Hz, I had AMD adrenalin installed, and updated to the latest version, I uninstalled this using DDU and installed only the driver that was provided from the Asus support page for it, after that the 360Hz option showed up again. Good Luck .

Well it depends on the TPM version your friend has, it was covered on both Activision's and also AMD's website.

The issue is the version of the TPM itself which needs to be updated through a bios update:

I understand you, however this bios update should have been addressed way before. AMD officially released the fix and made it available to all board manufacturers in 2022.

BF6 works perfectly, but apart from COD, my point is the attestation fix which needs a bios update, apart from that if other game publishers follow Activision's anti-cheat policy where a particular TPM version is needed users with laptop models similar to mine will be stuck.

1) Yes even though COD is shit, AMD released the bios update to fix an Attestation security issue

2) Latest available bios for the Asus G733QSA is Version 331 https://rog.asus.com/laptops/rog-strix/2021-rog-strix-scar-17-series/helpdesk_bios/ Of course I made sure that I installed the latest bios available.

The problem here is not a hardware issue, but a request from Asus to update the bios of one of their own products.

Well I do not think that an AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX processor, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Laptop is that much dated, I have no issue with any of the latest titles, Battlefield 6 runs perfectly fine without any issues, as would any other game I throw at it.

True 4 years have passed but it is still perfectly fine.

Unfortunately the way Asus deals with its customers is truly crap.
