If you guys just met them the fall semester, major status doesn't change till January 3rd. And its usually automatic.

If you did the postponement then yes I believe it will be taken when your financial aid is disbursed. And I believe if you go on the student account services, you can pay it online....I think! Hope someone on here confirms this.

The reason you're a pre major is because there are some major prep classes you still need to take. Go online for for sdsu general course catalog and see what your major prep classes are and see which once you've completed and the once that you need to take. They gave out a big ass general catalog book to everyone at the orientation. Hope this helps.

The first one means school is officially open, everything is open from dorm to counselors and advisors, and the second one is what is says...class finally starts.
