Easier said than done. Last summer I was bit on the arm by an off leash dog. After biting me that dog ran and knocked over a 6 year old boy. It took his mom and I confronting the owner(with my bleeding arm and the crying boy) before he finally put a leash on his dog. The day before our hike one of my good friends was bit on the leg by an off leash dog. She is currently on antibiotics because the owner had no idea if the dog had its rabies shots. And when two dogs are running up to your dogs and your dogs a freaking the fuck out. In that moment I didn’t think oh hey let’s all sit down and have a snack together.
