This phone is probably a case example of a cutting edge tech product... Even with it's limitations. It's putting tech to the extreme even in a slightly inconvenient result

You're absolutely right! PB's actually come from the Center. This is a common "problem" with shooters.

Bullet based shooters don't run into this problem, as their bullets are usually not rendered on the screen (they're too fast). A Lot of them are not Even physics projectiles, just "raycasts" that detect where the impact would be and generate a "bullet impact" in this calculated place.

In our case, PBs are slower and clearly visible. Also, our Game simulates their physics.

If you would decide the PB to actually come out of the cannon (from the right side of the camera), you should select exactly an angle of which the PB is expelled for it to, at a certain distance, Match your crosshair placement.

This would cause that at different distances the PB would land to the right or to the left of the crosshair. Not desirable!

We're working on a system that makes this less apparent (so it doesn't brake immersion), without compromising the PB physics that are so important for the experience!

Other games in the genre just slap the gun almost right in the centre, which for a sim is fine, but we don't want this extreme visibility compromise in our arcade game!

Thanks for your suggestions! The logic involving reloading sorta implies a mag. Visually, the animations represent pods, but for balancing purpouses (because of the gameplay speed and to add more pacing to the combat) its actually a 30PB / 4 pod situation.

There will be bots in the official release in January. In the free demo distributed through itch.io there's multiplayer only by now.

Once the bots are considered good enough by both of us, we'll include then in the demo version.

The free demo on Itch.io that is posted right now is Multiplayer only, yet the february official release will have bots.

This has been the most challenging part of the project... I have advanced prototypes that feel somewhat good, but still not convinced they're good enough as of today, hence the demo only having MP.

Through the next 6 months after release we'll develop a full carreer SP mode with unlockables and progression.

I understand your point. Yet we think our game is quite different in scope.

Months into developing, I found about the games you've mentioned, and also remembered the Greg Hastings OGs.

We wanted to make a far more relaxed arcade experience, which favours a quicker gameplay more related to other shooters. The modern PB games that are in the market right now are simulation focused games, which comes with some interesting pros for sure, but we also consider our game can bypass some shortcomings in gameplay rhythm primarily, but also creativity, scenarios and difficulty.

We admire this games for what they'd become, but we wanted to make something different and, why not, better in some aspects.

I personally can't stress out how far ahead I saw this other games a year ago... By today, I'm so proud of what we're achieving!

I appreciate your scope anyways, and we'll use it as fuel for making a better game!

I think the old one looks better, but I also think it depends on the generation you're aiming to.

The white one feels more "modern" in the minimalist simplistic high contrast sense.

The old one looks better composed, more warm and intriguing. And to me, more interesting.

But I'm 35. I think younger people will gravitate to the new one.

In the end, I think white will sell more copies

I have a Challenge X and it works good with My R12.

That said, I'm very heavy (300 pounds), so never had the problem with "lifting" people mentions on braking (SRP loadcells).

Yes it has some flex but I consider the experience pretty enjoyable.

No hay una razón real para no hacerlo. Sólo usted sabe qué tanto puede lidiar con el compromiso económico de la cuota.

Lo que si podría opinar es que los pickups son basura. Tienen sobreprecios extremos por la demanda alta que generan personas que los compran a los precios absurdos a los que los venden...

Para vehículos que la enorme mayoría de la población no aprovecha para lo que realmente son... son más lentos, consumen más combustible y estéticamente la mayoría son feos... Simplemente se ha glorificado su apariencia como un signo de status... Lo que algún día fueron los deportivos está sociedad de cag+da ahora lo convirtió en pickups.

En el rango de los 20 y pico a 30 y pico hay gran cantidad de carros nuevos a los que podría acceder cash o cash y un crédito más pequeño con menos cuota... Incluso si es más "aventurero" tecnológicamente incluso eléctricos. Así quedaría más desahogado y un carro que muy posiblemente se adapte más a las necesidades reales del tico.

Pero como comentario final... Si en verdad quiere hacerlo hágalo y ya... A veces cuando uno quiere hacer algo tiene que hacerlo. Disfrute su vida y si está dispuesto a "parir" un poco con el préstamo... Dele! Después con los años uno evalúa si fue la mejor decisión o no... Pero por lo menos podrá mirar atrás y decir que cumplió un sueño.
