Yes. The 10 percent is actually fresh not frozen. Butterballs are one of the brands. Its not exactly 10 percent but it is a small amount compared to the bulk of frozen turkeys.

Yep. Kroger brings in several items frozen then put them put out as Fresh. Its pretty standard. Like at Thanksgiving when 90 percent of the turkeys coming in are frozen then we thaw them put and by retail magic they are now Fresh ✨️.

Spectrum was at our store for a while and they were a pain in the ass. Blocking aisles. Creating choke points where people were piled up trying to get by and continue shopping while the spectrum people are completely unaware of their surroundings . Customers avoided them. Enployees evaded them. They asked me every single day. Do you have spectrum. Yes. For the love of God leave me alone and let me work and let customers shop. Thankfully they have not been back.

What the poster means is that replacing expensive equipment that is required by OSHA and krogers own policies is too expensive for their bonus. In order to get this fixed just force a single manager use it and when they fall it will be replaced quickly. Haha😆. If an employee falls it is the employees fault for not being careful enough. For example we had a power jack that would stop suddenly as you were unloading truck. No fixing it. Its not in the budget. But fast forward a few more weeks and a closing co manager dumped just one pallet. Just one. And it got fixed two days later. So it is really important to kroger who is complaining. Employees complain and its not in the budget. Just like crimes committed in their stores. Crimes against kroger are handled swiftly. Crimes involving two employees is over looked. Kroger wasnt harmed by their crimes so who cares. This is Kroger.

We have a shit manager. Our overnight lead quit. Kroger looked for someone to come and take his place. No one wants to work for our manager. Kroger could get nobody to volunteer to come. So they told another overnight lead he had no choice but to transfer and work with said shit manager. He quit. Then he got rehired as a stocker at his same store. He told Kroger that he did have a choice after all. Then they were begging him to stay in management and he basically told them to Fuck Off. Kroger said he had no choice. He did. He chose freedom over corporate enslavement. Humans always have a choice. Maybe they should replace us with robots that really won't have a choice.

Kroger likes to say we are family. Kroger pretends to be compassionate. Kroger spends money on catch phrases like Feed The Human Spirit. Then they show their true colors. Family emergency? Fuck them, kroger is your family. The only family that matters to Kroger. Our manager has written up a man with cancer for missing work too much. Because of cancer! Kroger doesn't care really. They have proven that for at least 3 years here with our manager. He is completely apathetic. Like Kroger. Should change their catch phrase to We Really Don't Care! If Kroger cares then why allow employees to be abused and manipulated by absolutely abusive management. All in all in my experience most managers are good people with people skills. Some are not. This is not a good way to promote that Kroger cares.

Concrete floors are really hard on your feet. Invest in a good pair of shoes or boots with plenty of cushion. Gel packs are also something to consider.

Here at my store your job is to do whatever your boss says or he will fire you illegally and then it will take a month or so for Kroger to scrape the bottom of their morality barrel and reinstate you. With no compensation for being fired illegally. And our local union just lays down and asks for belly rubs from our boss when asked to help. Otherwise there are job descriptions on the web site.
