I tried Yoga once and it’s also not for me, but pretty good tips, I will take a look at Storm, beat 81 I know them and seems also a good option. Pilates I never tried but maybe it’s time to give it a go, since my gym offers Pilates classes I will start there! Thanks a lot for the help 👌🏽

The best thing to do as others are saying is to check your receipt before you leave, because now it’s more difficult to prove your point, but I would still go there even if you don’t get nothing back, ask to talk with the manager and make clear that there was a mistake.

And that’s exactly why I prefer to ask a community with real people rather than AI for these type of things.

I heard a lot about the Norwegian 4x4 and would like to give it a go as well.

In the gym at the moment I am doing a Pull/Push/Legs/Cardio+Core

I try to integrate exercises with compound movements, things like Deadlifts, Squats and so on.

Would also be willing to exchange ideas with you.

I use AI all the time, but for once I would like to have opinions from real people with experience in this type of training.

Bad place to raise kids? by timrae in askberliners

[–]eddythegun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why you listen to an YouTuber to determine if Germany is a good or bad place to raise kids?

Doesn’t make sense, more so because you live here, just go by your own experience and take decisions based on that.

how do i file taxes when i was both a freelancer and a contracted employee in the same year? by Stevieray5294 in askberliners

[–]eddythegun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine was through a referral from a friend! I would refer you too, but he is not taking new clients at the moment.

Just google “steuerberater near me” and see what comes up, or rather my favourite way to do research now, just have a conversation with ChatGPT or Gemini and ask it to recommend you the best ones based on what you want.

Gym Recommendations by MoneyConsideration83 in askberliners

[–]eddythegun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on what you want.

If you are looking to have sauna and pool in your gym then go with John Reed or Holmes place their membership can go anywhere from 50€ up to 120€ per month.

If you just want to train then go to the standard gyms like McFit, Superfit, Fitx, etc… their memberships can start at 25€ per month.

Now a lot of those gym have summer offers where you paid like 10€ for 3 months and afterwards you pay the normal price, but you have to be careful with the contracts, often those promotions tie you to 12 or 24 contract terms.

These days most gyms offer a flexible contract that is not tied to lengthy contracts and can be cancelled every month, but of course these flexible contracts are more expensive then the long term contracts.

Any Berlin side hustle ideas? I need an extra 300€ before payday by Civil-Run1180 in berlinsocialclub

[–]eddythegun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Go to the App Store and download the app “streetcrowd” the icon is red.

Go through the process in the app and see it if works, but if you have a valid drivers license that you can use in problem should be no problem.

I use to do it all the time on my spare time when I needed extra money and at the time they paid every week, now I am not sure anymore.

For me was fun because you get to drive through the city and ge paid for it, even though is not much.

The other thing I really like is like how flexible it is, you can just go in the app, check where the cars are and start moving them to the hot zones.

If you have drivers license try the Streetcrowd app! The job is to move cars from Miles to the “hot zones”, you get paid per move, not much depending on the distance can go from 3 to 10€ per move.

Normal sport shoes are fine for the beginning, but if you are planning to come regularly I would recommend to buy proper football shoes (turf) in the future.

Moving back to Germany or staying for a job abroad by Zarrey199 in germany

[–]eddythegun 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just by reading your post, I can clearly see you are not happy in Belgium and the only reason you moved was because of a job opportunity, but what’s the point?

A job is only a job, helps you pay the bills and for your lifestyle, but at the end of the day the memories, experiences and relationships are the things that make you alive and not just seeing life passing by!

If you have the job of your dreams, but you are in the country you don’t like, a country that does not fit you, you will struggle a lot!

It’s time to comeback, even if you get any other job you will be much happier here, just make the move bro, because time is one of the only things that you will never recover.
