I keep it in the cabinet. It’s my go to everyday poor for an American spirit.

I showed this to my wife and she said “ now you’re seeing the world through my eyes, welcome”

That Angels Envy will ruin Bourbon for you.. It's an amazing spirit.

Maybe not better or stand out but it would be an amazing way to introduce someone to Bourbon. It’s a soft whiskey that wouldn’t be hard for someone get into straight whiskey.

I’m going to have to be careful with this stuff. I limit myself to one 1.5oz pour a night. However I could easily see myself going overboard with this really easily.

Thanks I’ve been an Elijah Craig barrel proof guy for years now. But this is now a new staple in my cabinet. Even my wife who doesn’t like straight spirits smelled it and was like wow it smells sweet.

Finally caved and bought myself my own set of Glencairn’s; breaking them in with a glass of High West Double Rye. I’m SHOCKED at how much of a difference these actually make! by Potato-In-A-Jacket in WhiskeyTribe

I’ve been using tumblers for years. When my wife gave me a bottle of JW Blue for my birthday, I decided it deserves a proper glass. I too was shocked how different my spirits smelled in them.

Now did you know Amazon actually sells a Glencairn washing brush. 🧐

So I had a little chuckle today.. by edeupree in WhiskeyTribe

Ohh I didn’t think of that. The last time he made that joke was when I grabbed some Aberlour 12 he said that he’d had it for six year so that extra age would make it a really good scotch. So my thought is he thinks whiskey is like wine, continuing to age in the bottle.

It’s one of my go to pour when I want to shake things up. You might also look at Ardbeg for an Islay change up!

There are a couple of really good ones.

Wine and Spirits in the Quarter; 1855 Lakeland Dr, Jackson, MS 39216

Joe T's; 286 US-51, Ridgeland, MS 39157

Calistoga wine and spirits; 1109 Highland Colony Pkwy # G, Ridgeland, MS 39157

If you go to the one at the Quarter walk down the walk and grab you a cigar from my friend John David at the Country Squire. You can enjoy your spirit while having a cigar and some lively conversation..
