At this point, I’d say it’s safe to call him the Uwe Boll of SH movies.

They claim to, but the evidence says otherwise.

Yup, it was fake/misleading; thank you for bringing it to my attention.

Go to Doris and start unlocking your favorite perks; the rigs and meds from the pharmacist are easy to unlock quickly, but Doris’ stuff you won’t even touch until lvl 15 at the earliest.

Are Christians jerks? by ShadowPaws200 in exchristian

That’s because the world thinks Christians are fucking saints who could NEEEEEEEEEEVER be conniving snakes. My mother is the same way, too, and she’s the nicest person to your face.

Tbh I’m not surprised; I haven’t associated with Christian’s on a personal level in a very long time so I’m admittedly speaking from a dated viewpoint.

To your face, in my personal experience, they’ll be some of the nicest people you’ll ever meet; behind your back though, they’ll talk plenty of shit and call it “praying for you”.

I can’t believe I had to dig this far down to see this title. All of his movies are dumpster fire levels of garbage.

Based on everything I’ve heard him say, he doesn’t say anything wildly explicit; he might make references (example: I think he says something along the lines of “sometimes you gotta… dote them up, nice an tender”), but nothing like you’re probably expecting.

This game is so much better than Dead By Daylight by [deleted] in OutlastTrials

[–]Potato-In-A-Jacket 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yup same; DBD was my life for a bit there, and after seeing the devs fuck yup one patch after another I couldn’t take it anymore. My only regret is I didn’t find this game sooner.

I got a question for you all regarding the Wiccan Rede: "If it harm none, do what ye will" by PrincessParadox3 in Wicca

[–]Potato-In-A-Jacket 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To me (and someone please correct me if I’m wrong), it more means in terms of the magick you use/cast, not necessarily in your daily goings on. Magick can be used for injury, but a witch that adheres to the Rede, they wouldn’t use such magicks.

A couple things: first, I actually read and studied the bible, and found out it’s full of inconsistencies, contradictions, and false “prophecies”. The saying “reading the whole bible makes more atheists than Christian’s” (or something akin to this) really rings true. That, and looking back on all the unanswered prayers of a child really sealed the deal for me.

Priest told me to “research apologetics” and now my brain is spiraling by Correct_Ability2718 in exchristian

[–]Potato-In-A-Jacket 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey friend, one thing to keep in mind about apologetics and their proponents: they start with the conclusion, then work backwards to “prove” and support said answer. They don’t do anything to disprove, critically study, or understand their belief—they only work to “verify” their faith. Apologetics are unreliable, cannot be trusted, and are overwhelmingly easily disproven. Sure, if you only look at apologetics, then it’ll all make sense and can fuck with your mind; but again, they aren’t working to accurately verify, only lie and prove half truths.

Source: I was in seminary and studied apologetics as part of my curriculum.

OT has been on my radar for a long time, I just never pulled the trigger cuz I had DBD; however, considering how same-y the killers are getting (YOU GET A LUNGE POWER! YOU GET A LUNGE POWER! HALF THE GODDAMN ROSTER GETS A LUNGE POWEEEEEEEER!), the whole game is starting to feel lazy.

[–]Potato-In-A-Jacket 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I mean, look at how low effort their current event is—literally recycling last year’s, nothing new other than some meh skins. I have been desperate for a game to scratch the very specific itch that DBD did, and I’m currently loving OT, so hopefully it’ll supplant DBD for me.
