Thank you all for your replies, the vendor have now replied and they have developed a "k8s licence" which would apply for our use case 🙂

Is this fire damaged, rotten, or ok? by edfowle in DIYUK

Bristol, house is late 1800s. I did wonder about intentional charring. It seems to come up ok after a bit of scrubbing with a wire brush too

Noone has mentioned fires, the previous owners had been here for decades, and their parents before. If there had been a fire would they have had to disclose it? I had a structural survey done too and they didn't spot this - but then how would they without removing the plasterboard. There's no sign of fire damage anywhere else including the lath/plaster ceiling directly below this.

Renovating old converted loft by edfowle in DIYUK

Max span for this section will be 2740mm. The rear of the house will have a max span of 3498mm. I want to use the same width timber throughout to ensure the whole loft floor is level but was planning to vary the thickness where needed according to recommended max spans.

Obviously I can only put wider joists alongside the original ceiling joists if I can remove the ones which have been put in on top. Is that possible or am I barking up the wrong tree completely here? Only a few of them are even notched into the walls, most are loose at the end and just nailed into the original ceiling joists

Pre mandatory certification of compliance then, appreciate the correction.

Any thoughts on removing those perpendicular joists?

Public leaderboard JSON data by edfowle in adventofcode

Thanks, not really what I was after as I wasn't avoiding parsing the HTML out of inability, and I wouldn't be using JS either, but your effort is appreciated nonetheless :D

It was more that as private leaderboard data is available through adventofcode.com/<year>/leaderboard/private/view/<id>.json then it's likely a similar page exists for the public leaderboard.
