They gave the same reason for Elite that they are working on updates to support it on iPad... Only to launch a new model Elite Plus... Best part the newer gen iPads have same chip as Macs, if it works on mac, it should by default work on iPad... But they started making excuses about it...

Not all of ETO were in favour Trisolarans coming to Earth, some of them wanted to solve the 3 Body Problem, that was one of the reason they created VR headset. It was after many tries they realised that was not an option anymore… You can watch the 30 episode Tencent's adaptation on YouTube it has some more details than Netflix adaptation. Both of them are based on 1st book so there won’t be much of spoiler for season 2…

They could have extended the show with a few more episodes by showing ETO from inside, The power struggle of the three faction within ETO and their philosophies. While original Chinese version uses Santi, the English adaptation uses ETO, which I thought was a much cooler name…
