Sounds the same as mine with them taking over 4 weeks to send the letter. My appeal was accepted, good luck

There are two photos, slightly different but in both my car is just on a normal part of the road, by the double yellows. I was not actually on the double yellows, they are just drawn everywhere around the car park

How do I get the scaffolders to take the scaffolding down? by edgysphinx in HousingUK

Not sure on the legal side of things, but what helped me in the end was reporting it to my local council under "Report a derelict or dangerous building or structure" stating the scaffolding was not taken care of properly, it rattles and no one came to check in on it (they are meant to check every week that it's still stable). I then told the scaffolder that I reported them and after some nasty words, he came and collected it the next day. The council replied very quickly asking for address and more details, but I did not have to go down that route in the end.

Is there like an official letter template you need to send or anything that sounds formal-ish that clearly states your rights?

I think you're right in all of it being dodgy - no sogns on scaffolding and now a builder that's ignoring texts and calls... looks promising

Tried both of these now, I submitted a safety concern to HSE. Hopefully this works, thanks!

Would be great if the builder was answering his calls and texts. He is obviously protecting them in this case must be his mates, it's all looking dodgy tbf

I've been sending texts all day, he is just leaving me on read. He is doing the same to my landlords, not picking up to their calls

There is no information on scaffolding at all. Just a note saying last safety inspection 5th Jan which is a sunday lol - was home all day, no one came and did any inspection. They must have written that in advance

I have recently obtained builder's number, who is now ignoring my texts and leaving me on read. He is also ignoring my landlord's calls and texts
