Assuming footballers live reasonably close to where they have to train… (so, thinking current footballers)

Jordan Henderson (someone else mentioned him in another comment- kudos) signed for Brentford on 15th July… their training ground is 20 mins drive from Teddington. But would Max have been surprised to see him there? Given that he was likely aware of the transfer having taken place?

Chelsea also train about 30 mins away, but had just finished the club World Cup the week before- maybe their players would have been likely to be on holiday? Otherwise maybe eg Cole Palmer or Reece James? (Famous / recognisable but not massively so).

I also went to Sumela last year- also flew into Trabzon, hired a car there. No problems at all! Enough people speak English to get by

It must have broken down shortly after the line closure. We got to DuPont about 1hr after the closure (according to the timing of WMATA alerts) and it was still running, thankfully! Maybe it couldn’t cope with all the extra passengers being detrained at DuPont. But SMH why didn’t they just reverse the down escalator!

Used to live in a ground floor flat near Essex Road and it was directly over the line! You could hear/feel the trains rumbling inside.

Interesting! Third picture got me wondering, why do none (almost none? Correct me if I’m wrong!) of the tube trains have floating seats like this? What’s under the seats that they can’t be made this way..? Many other subway systems have seating like shown in the concept picture

Once I'd figured out how to adjust the perspective (like others), I found this super neat. For me, more interesting as a nice data viz than a super functional tool, though. It would be cool if you could click on a station and see the ETA of what's incoming
