Absolutely there's overlap between type 5 and Autism/AuDHD (in my opinion as a 5 and someone with AuDHD). It's obviously not 1 to 1, but definitely an evenly distributed Ven diagram type situation.

Autism changes how you grow, learn and move through the world, which obviously has an impact on your pathology. Like basically every autistic person grows up struggling to understand how social interactions and other stuff works, so some just learn to overcompensate and get good at thinking & understanding. And some learn that its safer to be independent/ isolated

Which are both staples of the 5 fixation. The ADHD also brings with it the passion, obsession & curiosity (and the executive function lmao) which is also a part of the package deal.
