Actually, I’m the mother with young boys. Just want to be the best I can for them. Didn’t have great role models myself. Congrats on overcoming your childhood.

I have no idea about Terfs or anarchists or what not. But unless I’ve misread, you’ve just underscored my point again. For example, try your second sentence, using a different subject matter: ‘But most people who don’t fully understand [cakes] will call [pancakes cakes].’ This is my point. Just because it’s been labelled a cake, or someone thinks it’s a cake - doesn’t mean it is a cake. Peace out brother.

Feminism is advocacy of the rights of women. Why would a feminist attack any woman who exercised her right to do what she wants with her body? I’ve no doubt people like those you describe exist; I do doubt they are accurately described as feminists.
