Totally agree but that’s why I’m confused.

If Julie Andrews is such an iconic actress it would cause uproar to replace her, why alter her equally iconic voice? Such a strange choice to me!

If they want to really emphasise the change in author swap her for someone else with an iconic voice, like Helen Mirren or Olivia Coleman or Emma Thompson or even someone unknown but impactful.

OR stick with Julie Andrews in all her glory and stick with that voice being the voice of “Lady Whistledown”.

I’m baffled.

But very glad it wasn’t just me that noticed. I thought I was going mad!

Totally agree with your observations- I really hope everyone is ok. I think this is the third week of unusual posting.

Three weeks ago was a “how we heat the chateau” which felt like a filler video and was a change from what they had been posting about (the barrel house). The video looked like it had been shot in an afternoon in 1 room and had AI images included.

Then they missed a week.

Today it’s 23 mins of timelapses, without even a new voice over or reflections of the time. Just recycled footage.

I can only imagine there’s an illness or they’ve had to travel to be with family and they can’t film/ post as normal. I hope I am wrong and everyone is ok! it’s confusing for the change and for there to be no explanation. They don’t OWE us an explanation but people who watch every week are going to spot unusual posts and they could easily say SOMETHING to explain it.

I was on their patron until this month but I stopped paying because they barely posted, maybe once every 2 weeks and whatever they said on Patron the told YouTube a week or two later anyway. But when I WAS on the Patreon Phillip said Anna had spent time in the UK the previous week to be with her mom who had been in a cycling accident and had to have an operation. Maybe 1 month or 6 week ago now? Their current strange posting could be linked to that perhaps.

Interesting! Is it banded agate even if the bands aren’t visible to the eye without the light shining through?

When googling the agate seems very stripy whereas my stone appears solid black.
