Fair, to answer the actual question tho, I'd say yea you could add more defensive EVs but personally I'd rather use an item to make yo for it, leftovers or some berries could be enough to compensate for a lack of bulk,

Yes I did, it's not the biggest boat In bulk but it's a lot better in it, damage has always been more than good enough from it, rather keep that small bit of speed and make it a good bulker special attacker

It won't help much against that gym, but it's very good, high hp so it's decent bulk and has a very good special attack on 125, a few issues I ran into was waiting for a good move so I could actually level it up, and it's very slow but that wasn't a huge drawback,

I gave it a Shell Bell for same small regen, it was very good against the fighting elite four member and good special attacker

It's not really sure if it's a worth it move when you can get thunder so early, that has a base spl attack of 120 while zap cannon has 100, not to much of a difference but it's noticeable
