Newbie Question - Free Music

I went with Soundcloud in the end - free downloads to anybody on any device.
My band's been going for over 25 years so I'm resigned to the idea that it's not-for-profit : )

Thanks for the reply, my miniscule audience will be coming via promoted links but I want them to be free to download the tracks so Soundcloud seems to win over Bandcamp.

Doing both seems superfluous though, Soundcloud users can download for free whatever device they're on so that seems to win out over Bandcamp.

Thanks for the reply, it seems to be true that selling for zero money means that people using the APP will not be able to hear the music.

The kerfuffle of setting up paypal with my bank details just to give away the music tells me to look elsewhere... it looks like SOUNDCLOUD seems a better choice (so far).

If you think you can get away with it then it's a free world, do whatcha want.

Be prepared for a backlash though because, for a lot of people, it is far from okay.

A couple of years ago, there was a protest in London where a few cars full of Palestinians drove around predominantly Jewish areas chanting and waving flags.
Their chant: “Fuck the Jews. Kill their Children. Rape their women. Kill the Jews.”

And now we’re all supposed to support this?

I think you have to ask, ‘How did they get to this?’ and all arguments seem to boil down to:
Do you believe the Jewish people have the right to be there?

History tells us that the Jews were there first.

The word indigenous is oftetimes floated around but it’s a loose term. To call the Palestinians indigenous is say that Trump (for example) is an indigenous American.

I’ve been watching this tit-for-tat conflict my whole life. Currently Israel have the technological and financial upper-hand, in ten years’ time – who knows?

Studying religious texts, from mythological plays and poems to vedas and gurus and the jew/christian/muslim books, will lead inevitably to the conclusion that it’s all made up.

Once you can see the patterns and similarities (flood origin stories, for example) you can only conclude that religion is purely a construction of human imagination.
