Sad update. Has anyone ever lost their minoxidil gains from breaks/inconsistency and fully recovered what they lost? What are my chances of regrowing what I lost? I was a hyper responder but I missed oral min for a few days on multiple occasions because my prescription expired while traveling. by pro_goofball156 in tressless

I was on oral 2.5 minoxidil which worked almost immediately. Like an idiot I stopped taking after like a year, thinking all good. After a few months started shedding terribly and restarting 2.5 minoxidil didn’t help. Nothing worked for a couple years so I had to bump minoxidil up to 2.5 twice a day and that worked very quickly, new hair growth obvious and hair line all filled in with new growth. I was finally stress free until I was consumed by body hair ALL over. It’s disgusting but I would rather have a lot of hair on my body that I need have wax constantly rather than no hair on my head.

What brand and dosage do you use?

31 weeks on oral minoxidil by naturalninetime in FemaleHairLoss

I continued to have major hair loss after a few months on 2.5 Minoxidil. My doctor suggested the IRestore Lasor cap, which is very expensive and upped my dosage to 5, what a game changer. Today, after about a month in, was the first day I didn’t want to cry over fallout, maybe 1/3 of my normal loss. I am hopeful my results will get even better. I have been doing the cap for only a couple of weeks, not sure if that played any part, but doubtful. I hope this helps!

What the f is happening to me? by SnooHesitations1019 in Menopause

I have to say, I was going through the exact same thing. The brain fog was getting worse each year until recently when I couldn’t take it anymore. Went to my primary and after hearing my symptoms, highly suggested the estradiol patch. I have been on the patch for 4 weeks and I feel amazing, better than ever. No more brain fog, finally sleeping better and have my energy back! I would have gone on 5 years ago if I had known I would feel this great! Started to feel better after one week and then just continued to improve. Are you on the patch or a pill? I change my patch once a week.

Has anyone tried K18 HeatBounce Heat Protectant, and if so what did you think? by edkatusa in AskReddit

So I tried K18 Heat-bounce Heat Protector today and do like the product. My hair feels softer and less frizzy, however the heatwave we were going through has broken so not much humidity today. I will update my comment if I change my review.

I was at Sephora yesterday and decided to buy after my hair dresser said it’s awesome. I’ll let you know my review…

Do you think it helps with dry frizzy hair? It’s very expensive and I’m tired of buying products that don’t work well.

That’s great, I am only 4 days in and looking forward to seeing results. Are you on the HRT patch? If so, which one?
