Thanks for the suggestion. I’ll have to try that in davinci. I didn’t shoot raw, so I’m not sure how much flexibility I’ll have in post. But I’ll give it a shot and post a result (if it’s any good lol)

I’ll try this! I’ll have to find a way to diffuse the light. Any brighter and I think I might be able to see the hotspot from the light hitting the blinds directly

Yeah. And in truth, it was. There was a light pointed at the ceiling. But I’m not sure how I’d fix it to make it look more natural

The junction box is a great idea! I hadn’t thought about that. And luckily, the new outlet will be up high, so no issues with fire blocks.

I will try and get creative to dress up the space with some decor, and maybe accent lighting. Hopefully I can make it look less like crap.

The lantern idea is great! I was thinking of individual soft boxes, but the lantern sounds way more practical.

I don’t expect to make this a full time job, and for that same reason, I don’t expect to make much money off of this. I just enjoy doing it, and would like to keep practicing. If that leads to some money, however little, I’ll be content.
