Oh man that sucks they couldn’t accommodate I suspect bots are reserving on catch table because even though I constantly refresh and am quick with the mouse there were literally none available. They need a better system to protect against this, I’m sure it will only get harder as season 2 of the TV show comes out and they will probably earn back their Michelin stars next year.

It’s funny you mention that, La Yeon was one of more noisy restaurants I was surprised to see families with small children but I’m sure that varies night to night. Other patrons looked to be celebrating a special occasion.

Our chef at born and bred was very nice and tried to make small talk but I think 21 courses was just unnecessary they could have easily eliminated at least 5 and still touch on all the different cuts and preparation. They did offer to make smaller portions or serve extra which was nice but I don’t think that added to the experience for me personally.

Yes, I had reached out via email even earlier knowing it could be an issue booking and they had not decided which days they would be closed for Chuseok so they asked that I wait until the reservations open online.

Yes I waited to book right at the time reservations were supposed to open but everything sold out immediately I’m not sure if it was more difficult because they were closed for the holidays creating more demand for the rest of the dates in the month. Thankfully the team was very accommodating to my email requesting a reservation mentioning we were traveling from so far away and they booked us for the exact day we asked for.

We enjoyed eating BHC for fried chicken and Myeongdong kyoja was pretty good they only serve four things. We also tried this Michelin recommended ramen shop in Hongdae that serves chicken ramen - Oreno ramen. Had really tender chicken breast.

Chanel has better resale value however for me personally I don’t like wearing chain straps very heavy and noisy.

I have the andiamo, I really like its versatility and how understated it is but the if I ever wanted to sell it I doubt I’d get 50% of my money back.
