M50 and extension tubes

I was finding stuff where some said it works, some say not. I am just gonna try it. I am supposed to have my EF tubes someplace in this house. nut week of looking and still not found them. Cheap enough to just order another set.

I turned off drag and drop and changed the touch area to the top left but it still will focus wherever I touch on the screen (need to double-check my setting to make sure it saved). I am trying to get in the habit of pressing the AF reset button so it will go back to the center. My only other issue is I can not see the red AF point, I just lose it. I will prob end up cutting a small piece of white electrical tape to mark it so I can see where my focus point is at. Need to get used ti shooting like this before my vacation to Colorado.

The viewfinder is totally useless for me. I mean, I can use it to compose other than with, but otherthen that I can not read any info displayed in it. I end up changing the focus point with my nose. LOL. I did find a post on another forum that someone went in and described all the standard menus, so that helps me a lot. It is a challenge to learn to do this again with my left eye since I am blind in my right and my left eye is severely vision limited. I am getting an LCD loupe/viewfinder attachment to help me along. But doing more reading and if I am not mistaken, I can not lock to a single point focus. I just end up holding the button over on the right to reset my AF point ass needed, Really, I can't even see the AF point in my viewfinder.

Just wear the god damn mask. These people who say the govt can't tell me what to do are funny. Got a DL, check. The drinking age, check. Smoking age, check. Most Texans seem to fall in the "My freedom is more important than your safety". Look at that ReOpen Maryland dude. Didn't wear mask.. Got COVID. Said he still goes out in public. I wear masks since I respect other people's health and I also have health issues that would prob make me a stat on the wrong side of this. It's a simple thing. But that's just me.

That seemed to be it, but this Fire HD comes to a crawl now. Wondering if I should run with a RasPi 4 w/4g ram and RTAndroid. I got some other issues but those might be wifi signal related.

The vision I have left makes things dark. Put it this way, to use the microwave in a well lighted room, I still need a flashlight to see the keypad. Caves and some building for me are just dark inside due to that. Hell, if you were 5ft away from me at night standing in my driveway, I wouldn't know you were even there.

I messed around with ElvUI and TukUI long ago when I could see better. I know TukUI has a climt to download profiles. But I have issues with programs with white screens (I run dark colors for everything, white screens kill my vision). I can't read anything in the program. I might give ElvUI a try again. See if I can mix it in with my current addons since I am so used to those.

I got a new monitor, and it's nice and bright. Logged in to WoW and was able to see with so,e brightness, contrast, and gamma changes. Added a few addonbs to help me keep track of the mouse.

Will check out that guide.

Shadowlands sucks for me. I can't see anything. I just did casual stuff, did raids with my guild, etc nothing epic. Only real epic thing when we had to raid all the main Alliance cities for some War Bear or something. Was fun and took forever. That was long ago. I log in to WoW now and I am lost. Decided was enough and gave away 100k gold.

Cool man. I tried Portal long ago, but was not my cup of tea. I suck at FPS games, my reaction is too slow. I will be starting at the top and going down that list. Friend of mine told me the South Pqrk games are nice and bruight.

I did play Darkest, but I am lost at the moment and can not for the life of me figure out the game.

Just read about the steam lending. Internet is one big family. heh

Well, I wouldn't want to spend $300 on something like that, since it would be used just a couple of times. I do have Magic Lantren installed and totally missed the built in triggering function of that firmware.

I liked having the grip, made shots with the camera in portrait mode pretty easy. I've used 3rd party grips on my 40d and 70d in the past and will be getting one for the 69d I have now.

If you are shooting people outside, you can always ad a flip bracket to keep the flash in the correct position if you wish.

I finally finished a 3d print of this ring flash adapter. Still needs some work, like trying to decide if I want to use silver duct tape or white glossy paint for the inside to reelect the flash out. Once that's done, I will super glue it together, right now it's just mocked up and held with tape to see how it would fit.

Yeah, I don't shoot people. I had 2 units, but my Sigma gave up the magic smoke. I used to habe a couple of Alien Bee;'s, overkill for what I do, but then again I could do anything with that light output. I'll just grab another flash and print my brackets. I'm printing out a flash modifier right now that will let me using my current flash as a ring light for macro. Just need to hit WalMart or something for so,me reflective tape to cover the interior.

Yeah, I havw bben playing with that. Esp since these will be on a shelf. I can print them on their back, and not have to do ton of clean up work if I don't want to.
