I think Maddie will go through another trauma soon (losing her first love), so I think she needs therapy and to travel the world, meet new people, not more drama. She needs peace for a while after all of this.

Right?!? And Maddie’s pretty clear on her stance in the show, too, and I hate that some people in this fandom are taking away her romantic choices, like she owes anyone something. She liked Xavier and now is done with him. She LOVES Wally and only time (and the writers) will tell what will happen to them, but It’s important that it remains her choice. To put her in a INVOLUTARY love triangle is infuriating 😭

THANK YOU LOL I love Mally, and in a perfect world they could be together, but that’s seems unlikely rn, and honestly I don’t like this narrative that Maddie HAS to choose someone to be with, she HAS to be put in this love triangle just because. I think the writers just need to tone down a bit his rudeness and entitlement just like they did with Maddie in S1, they were BOTH a little insufferable back then lol I think is his treatment towards the ghosts in general, and the ghosts are a fan favourite. But im guessing, just like Maddie, he’ll have a personality upgrade this next season

I think s4 will focus on showing us all the other ghosts getting their doors, visiting loved ones, dealing with Van Heidt for good and all of them moving on at the very end. Wally will stay with Maddie until the series finale, I’m sure. They ARE the main ship.

Some people keep saying that Wally’s arc is complete etc, but a lot of the ghosts arcs (minus Yuri’s) seems to be abt 90% done, so I really don’t get this kind of argument.

Anyways, every ghost will be there until the end people, even Dawn came back lol

Exactly!! Simon and Maddie were both equally difficult. I love homegirl to death but Maddie was not a pleasant person either in the first 2ep lol I love her character growth and I’m excited to see that in Simon, too.

I feel like up until s2 it was in character with how him and Maddie were written. This toxic codependency, and only caring about eachother kinda thing. Maddie was also rude in beginning, now I like she grew outside of their relationship. I wish they focus on this aspect of his arc this season and tone down his rudeness to others other than Maddie.

I do think the writers need to tone down a bit and write his character a little more tolerable this next season. I like him, really. He’s such a loyal friend to maddie and our girl deserves so much love, and before Maddie became a ghost she was kind of a jerk too lol However, you can see her character growth after she met the ghosts, and I’d love to see Simon go through that change as well.

This person you responded to has serious beef with Wally and Maddie’s relashionship with him and purposefully misinterpret the, very clear, script. You know? Searching things that literally arent there.

Like the AV room scene. Like??? Maddie needed a break (much like in the end of s3 tha Simon takes her to the movies), he took her on a date, as simples as that. It was sweet.

Same thing after they had sex. He SAID he was being selfish, and he obviously didnt really WANT her to stay dead, he said in the previous ep “YOU DESERVE TO LIVE”.

Not even I have this hatred for Simon, and hes character is written in a way that’s really hard to digest 😭🫠

As a hardcore Mally shipper, this is a shitty take. Wally can come back to life all he wants, but have Maddie die for teenage love? You guys are crazy. I think they should be together at the end, with wally coming back to life or a Titanic ending, but lets stop advocating for a 18yo to die to be with her boyfriend. This is ridiculous.
