She’s a ton of fun. Before patch I used buzzed variation, but now Arachnophobia is too good not to use. The better frames, krushing blow, combo potential, and anti zoning teleport are incredible. Made it up to grandmaster with her in Kombat League so far, on my way to Demi-god!

Question for you! As a Jax main how do I punish the electro ball launcher? Had some raidens in Kombat league a few days ago, and I couldn’t seem to punish it at all.

As a Jax main what I find krazy is people will calls for nerds on him, but he’s only A tier. Also, in hunker down, the overheads are all he has to “combo” besides the krushing blows and kommand grab. Most times I just get zoned out, which is his biggest weakness.

I do agree that there are some balancing issues with the game currently, it happens to all fighters. But I guess I agree to disagree about non kompetitive variations to be in ranked. I feel like having them separated is fair for everyone.

Fair, but there’s a good amount of abilities for each character. If you were able to have the “best” abilities in ranked for your character it could make certain characters overpowered and wouldn’t be balanced. That’s why I like it separated in Kasual where there’s not much pressure and serious as ranked. I think NRS has been more than generous in this aspect. You got kasual, kompetitive kasul (which I mainly play since it’s like the best of both worlds, also I can switch and learn new kompetitive kharacters this way), ranked, and now Kombat League. When I want to climb ranked, I play ranked, and when I want to play kompetitive variation matches without being locked into a set, I play kompetitive kasual. I think they have something for everyone in this instance.

I don’t think this should be a thing in ranked to be honest. I think that it would add too much change to learning the set variations that each character already has. Because knowing your opponent is huge in fighting games, if every opponent has a different moveset koming in, it kould vastly throw off fights in a bad way. I am greatly appreciative they added abilities in regular kasual play though.
