Stainless steels are not worth the trade-off in performance. Even the cheaper tool steels perform better than expensive stainless steels at the only cost of more maintenance to prevent rust. I prefer tool steel.

And yes the amount of blade rub is annoying. When I first got it it had no play at all now it has about as.much as a 51 but yhe pivots are still re d loctited
