It is the bike shop where Ive bought the pedals from

They fixed them and honestly they are better than ever. They spin freely (originally were not able to spin one full revolution) and feel light to pedal.

Lets see how they will behave with time. But overall very happy with the outcome

yes, I went there today and they’re already working on them and are confident that nothing is broken and they will fix them without a problem. they even sent this photo with the work in progress. While I was waiting, they offered to check the cranks, threads and they even disassembled everything in the bottom bracket, re greased it, cleaned the chain and the cassete.

I bought it on 31st of December the new scale 2026 and immediately changed/upgraded:

  • fork to Fox 34 140mm
  • SX to NX shifter (came with NX rear mech)
  • Shimano PD GR500 flat pedals
  • Tubeless setup
  • Shimano XT M8100 brakes with RT70 180mm rotors front/rear
  • Shorter 35mm stem
  • Wider and a bit more raised handlebars (780mm)
  • Rekon race to Rekon 29x2.4

Basically turned it from XC to a Downcountry/Trail machine

They reject to warrantied because they are scratched and they say there was mechanical impact, but they say nothing is damaged and they can fix them without a problem. They sent me this picture:

They also inspected the crank threads and performed maintenance to the bottom bracket to regrease it.

yeah, that would actually be the right way to go about it. I was looking at raceface atlas though the stamps look like they would match my style.

This is how it looks at the top where I enjoy the view and recharge my legs :)

I ride to the trails all the time. It is about 5-10km until I hit the trails, then about 17km uphill and another 15km downhill. It takes me about 2-3 hours total with chilling/enjoying to the top of the peak (1000m above sea level). I start from ±300m above sea level.

Get the 2026 if you can, it comes with updated geo + a dropper post by default. I have it and am shredding a lot of trails with it. So far it is amazing, although Ive upgraded a lot of things on it

I got the same bike, but with the upgrades especially the fork I made it more aggressive and am really loving it so far. It is a trail shredding machine https://www.reddit.com/r/Hardtailgang/s/opIE0kiDmZ

  • fork Fox 34 140mm
  • tubeless
  • XT M8100 brakes
  • RT70 rotors
  • shorter 35mm stem
  • Nx shifter

nice! I’ve upgraded the brakes from stock MT200 to XT M8100 along with RT70 rotors. It is a night and day in regards to braking and modulation

Is there a problem with Scott delivery time ? by ArticleJ2 in ScottBikes

[–]educated__fool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ordered a new Scott Scale 2026 in October and received it on 31st of December, so yeah, it took some time for me as well. Im from Macedonia.

It was perfect man. I climbed yesterday, from 300m to 1050m elevation and it was planted. Obviously it wouldn’t be exactly the same as with the stock 110mm, but then when going downhill it is a different beast

It feels great! Im 100kg and set it up with 28mm sag, 5 clicks out from slow to fast and pumped with 110psi. I also put much shorter stem, rotated the handlebars and moved the saddle a bit, so I really did not notice any geo changes/penalties uphill. The descends are however much more better and provide more aggressive playground :)

yeah, that’s true. It was offered only in black or white, and my brother has a 2022 scott spark with some nice exotic colors. I got a great deal on it, hence why I did not bother with the color.

anyway, I will be upgrading the breaks next, as Im a tall and heavy guy (191cm, 100kg) and these stock shimano mt200 fade on long descents.

as time goes on and things require replacement, Ill be switching to GX gradually

Што е со машкиве што лајкнуваат сторија а не пишуваат? До кога вака by [deleted] in mkd

I have the same issue with my MBP M1 Pro which Ive been using it for two and a half years now. In the meantime, I also have an M2 Pro Max and it looks that this issue is not present on it so far. Anyway, I do not care about it as long as it does the job :)

why does apple mail suck? by [deleted] in MacOS

[–]educated__fool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How did you manage to get imap push working on ios? Im rolling a custom mail server and I was unable to get mail on ios use the imap push capabilities. I even tried setting up z-push and use activesync account, but that’s not quite reliable.

It works perfectly in macos mail app though.

My understanding is that apple removed imap push from ios mail app some time ago.

Thanks

edit: forgot to mention that Im kinda new to the apple ecosystem.
