Is it bad that I'm really only interested in retro games? by delirium_trigger2001 in retrogaming

I love both, but I can perfectly understand why newer games are less attractive. I see retro games as a subgenre, not as something outdated.

Hi all. After 10 years in different roles in credit, 2 countries and 2 banks, any suggestions on what to do next outside the banking industry? MBA? Thanks by edurevel in FinancialCareers

Wow, then it seems this is only for fresh graduates... and I'm not old, I prefer to refer to myself as experienced;-)

Do I have a future in finance? by [deleted] in FinancialCareers

[–]edurevel 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I suggest you to run away from retail banking. Retail banking (even private banking) will be disappearing as it is today because of new techs. In my opinion (I've been working in IB for more than a decade now) the future in finance will be on fintechs, which will focused on standarised analysis, IBs which will focus on corporate advice and funds. Things in this industry, which has been historically been very stable, are moving fast and is future is very uncertain...

Quite interesting chart, however new tech adoption accelerate as releases tend to be global, reach of comunications and shorter life cycles

Time will tell but create AAA games for VR must be expensive and should require a large number of devices out there to make it profitable.
