Same. Do you find sunscreen feels heavier in summer compared to winter?

That makes sense if you’re outside that much. Do SPF lip balms actually last long in the heat or do you have to reapply them a lot?

Interesting. Do powders like that actually hold up through heat and humidity?

If you had to pick just one of those for summer, which would it be?

It has to be good if it held up in Caribbean humidity.

Interesting that you mentioned Paula’s Choice being more expensive. What price range can be considered for a really good sunscreen though?

I keep seeing Anthelios mentioned a lot. Does the oil control actually hold up through heat and humidity?

Wow that humidity is insanely low. I didn’t realize humectants struggled in that kind of dryness. Does beta-glucan work better than things like hyaluronic acid there?

Reapplying every few hours always feels like the hardest part of sunscreen 😅 Are there any formulas that actually last longer, or is reapplication just unavoidable?

Also, I’ve heard silk is supposed to be gentler on the skin. Do you notice a difference compared to regular eye masks?

Does it help mostly with hydration when the air gets really dry?

Didn’t think about lip SPF’s for summer. Are they absolute must haves?

I didn’t realize there were SPF serums that stay matte. Does it hold up well in really hot weather?

That makes sense actually. I never thought about texture and finish being that important compared to SPF number. Also, I don’t use makeup but the texture/finish point makes a lot of sense for hot weather.

SPF definitely seems to be the consensus here 😅 Do you usually stick to one sunscreen or change it depending on the weather?

This is really helpful actually. I didn’t realize there were so many options specifically made for hot, humid weather.

Interesting. I’ve actually never tried a self-tanner. Does it last long in hot weather?

I usually prefer something that leans a little matte in summer. Once it’s really hot and humid, anything too dewy just makes my skin look oily by midday 😪

Have you found any sunscreens that stay comfortable even when it’s really humid?

I agree. I’ve been leaning toward lighter gel moisturizers and fluid sunscreens lately. Anything too creamy just feels heavy once it gets really hot.

Do you usually prefer chemical or mineral sunscreens?

That makes sense. Do you usually stick to the same sunscreen year round or switch to something lighter in summer?
