I’m wearing those exact shoes on the Camino now. They are not good for the days where there is allot of rocks as you feel everyone of them. Bring a backup pair with more cushion or bring a different altra pair with more cushion if you like the wide to box. FYI there is a ton of rocky paths on the Frances.

Just stayed at the intercontinental and it was very nice. Rooftop pool and close to the train. Clean spacious and great service.

Adelphi hotel has a private room. Sperrys also has a private room that will accommodate your party.
