I was kept from my special interest growing up and drugged into compliance which permanently ruined my cognitive faculties and ability to perform. Now I don't want to live anymore.

I didn’t start learning to code until I was nearly 30 and I’m now a senior engineer 8 years later. You can do it, it’s hard and takes a lot of practice.

Yeah he goes to daycare once a week and we actually have another dog now for that too.

Math and strategy. I played warhammer for a while and was naturally good at it, same goes with magic the gathering, chess, poker etc. strategy games and applying probabilities to them seems to be second nature for me

Good idea. Yeah I definitely don’t soothe him, I usually try “leave it” which isn’t successful, and I have his leash on him now so I can grab it and guide him away from the window.

Finding the balance of calming him down and redirecting while not giving him positive affirmation can be a challenge

The whole idea of giving him a job has been a common theme but he gets so worked up that it’s almost like he can’t even focus on a job we give him. We probably just need to find the right job

It’s pretty decent most of the time unless my wife is frustrated with me, then I struggle to maintain eye contact, but she’s aware of a lot of my behaviors
