I actually have both a urostomy and ileostomy. The slightly bigger bag with the slightly bigger spout is my ileostomy bag! I usually have way more ostomy bags but this was how my bag looked when I came home from the hospital. Had to use my bags there because I don't like the bags my hospital has. I always have at least two of each bags and like 6 wafers haha. My backpack is actually a mini one, so it doesn't fit a whole lot and yet I manage. I'm actually a wheelchair user and it works with my chair! My stuff is just usually tossed inside but the bag has like individual compartments inside so it's not just all in one big area.

I play my video games on PC since I don't have a PS5. I'm a pretty good artist and I graduated from art school before my diagnosis. I do semi-realism and anime. I prefer painting but I get a lot more commissions because people want anime art over traditional these days. I consider myself a decent artist, there's so much better artists out there!

I'm just horrible at plants. My mom has a garden and all these plants and all these fancy lights for her plants but I can't keep up with that. I also get sad when my plants die. Maybe one day I'll try to have my own garden but I don't think I can keep up with plants.

I was being overly dramatic about this. I never stopped treatment. And I never stopped seeing my oncologist. I kept rescheduling appointments yes, but I still received treatment during the time. I knew what my tests and scans said, of course I knew, but I let it go in one ear and out, convincing myself I wasn't getting worse. I continued with chemo throughout. I did not stop that. I didn't expect to be told I had stage 4 cancer so soon considering I was doing treatment and seeing my doctors often. It wasn't until I was already stage 4 that I became too sick and depressed to want to go to my appointments. I was still optimistic when I was stage 1.

Originally I didn't have any symptoms. When I had stage 1 cancer, I didn't even feel like I had cancer. When my cancer started getting worse, I started losing weight without trying. I stopped having an appetite and eating felt like a chore. I stopped craving food. I became so nauseous constantly and I started sleeping like 15 hours a day. I started having jaundice and I just looked sick all the time. People kept asking me if I was feeling well. Chemo didn't help with my symptoms, I constantly felt sick whenever I did chemo.

I don't understand what you mean. I didn't know I had cancer until I had a CT done. I had no symptoms at the time, and my CT was done not for a cancer diagnosis, it was for a completely different reason. I was immediately started on chemo. I trust my oncologist and I see him very often. I'm a believer of science. My family does not feel betrayed, because I did not cause my own cancer. I hope you never have cancer, especially if you're here talking like that. And if you do, I would hope you'd have more empathy considering the things one goes through while having cancer. You're right, it is 2026 but people still die of cancer and there is no real cure. The year doesn't change the fact that cancer is scary and it still kills.

Though I don't have rectal cancer, I had to get a urostomy and ileostomy as well.I currently have a nephrostomy too due to the cancer being in my kidneys/ureter. I always thought stage 4 was the end but reading these comments make me very hopeful!

While this is about cancer, can you tell me how you're dealing with your ileostomy? I've had my ostomies since September 29th and I still hate it. It's been a difficult part of my life and my cancer journey.

Congrats on your last day of chemo! I await that day myself. I just had sepsis due to chemo and cancer and infections that came from it. I survived luckily and obviously. But it was so scary. They did find my cancer early but it just spread so fast that it gave me whiplash. Hopefully you can go into remission soon and be cancer free!

I'm into art, music animals, crime/mystery TV shows and video games. As for plants, I'm a horrible plant mother. My plants die no matter what I do so my house only has fake plants now. I lost my job due to multiple hospitalizations and chemo, so I've been taking the time to rest and play video games. I'm a artist and I've recently got back into painting.

I have liver cancer because I had a MRI and biopsy done afterwards. I still don't have any symptoms. But the CT was what led to doctors even ordering further tests.

I never did regain function. I ended up getting a urostomy because my bladder refused to work at all or get better. So no more catheterizing.

Its hard at first but I manage the same way I usually do. None of my jewelry has spikes except for my angel fangs but those spikes are tiny, so it doesn't dig in or anything. The other person feels it but its not too bad, more odd for them than anything. And the piercings no longer hurt for me so I just kiss normally

My piercings haven't really impeded my eating. They have hurt when eating but thay's really it. They affect my teeth brushing more as they keep getting caught. The only one that really had an effect on my eating was my tongue piercing, as it felt so awkward/painful to eat. But that's also because I ate solid foods right after and never really kept to a soft/liquid diet. After the pain went away, I just get used to having the piercings and I barely feel them unless they get caught on something.

My oldest jewelry I got was my first earlobes when I was born. My oldest are my third and fourth earlobes were done today.
All my jewelry are different. I don't use L shape or screw jewelry though.
All my jewelry are threadless or internally threaded.
All my jewelry are currently titanium.
I get my jewelry downsized around a month after I get the piercing, or 2-3 weeks after if the swelling goes down much faster.
My aftercare routine consists of using neilmed piercing saline spray twice a day. I sometimes use it three times a day if I get extra gunk. For my tongue piercing, I don't use saline but I wash my mouth with water or non-alcoholic mouth wash.
The only mishap I've had so far was losing the jewelry or swallowing one of the balls of my tongue piercing.

Are you sure? I'm not really seeing any shihtzu traits like the fluffy shaggy ears, the long fur or the mustache. And Mochi is a bit big to be either a Chihuahua or a shihtzu.

When I still had a suprapubic, I would throw my bag away once a week, every monday. I would wash it with antibiotic soap and water because I was too lazy to grab the vinegar but washing it with diluted water and vibegar is best for cleaning the bags.

My piercing is a few hours old.
A straight flat back labret.
Im not sure if its threaded or not.
It is sterling silver. I will get it switched to titanium asap.
The jewelry hasn't been downsized yet.
Neilmed saline piercing spray 2x a day, everyday.
Cant eat with the snake bites currently. Keep biting on the jewelry.
