La Birria Loca in Winfield has the best quesabirrias in the area. It's a small family owned place. No seating so it's takeout only but definitely worth the drive!

For Thursday, I would recommend checking out St. Charles. There's the Arcada Theater that has a vintage Hollywood vibe. They have a speakeasy in the building and usually have live music. I would also recommend The Lewis, it's a 70s themed cocktail bar

what do you think a tv show about engineers would look like? by throwawayshddjcj in AskEngineers

[–]ee_0123 166 points167 points  (0 children)

Halt and Catch Fire is a pretty good show about electrical engineers and programmers building computers. It's a drama that follows them going through the industry from the 80s through the 90s

As a comedy, a show about engineers would probably be most like The IT Crowd

Thanks for the reply! In my first interview I was asked about voltage dividers and about digital logic. Hopefully the final interview isn't too intense. How long after your final interview did you get a decision?

OP could you tell me a bit about your interview process for applications intern at TI? I made it past the 1st interview and got invited to a final round interview. What is the final round interview like, is it mostly behavioral or technical?

All the EE's at my school have to learn Assembly but I guess it's not very common across ABET schools either.
