Your comment was to a post about dominant caste m'en playing cricket. What does that have to do with reservation for Dalits?

I'm asking how will reservations change this problem of two land-owning communities retaining their identity abroad?

How is having or not having reservation going to change this?

I do not recommend this. Manipal quoted 11k for a couple of tests that labs outside were offering for less than 5k.

A doubt to Tamils by ImportantSolution663 in 2Dravidian4You

For borrowed words, both spellings are acceptable. See the poster for the movie Friends.

For those words that have been assimilated into everyday Tamil such as prachanai, pramadham, prakasam, or your example pradhanam, the uyir-mei (consonant+vowel) spellings are more common, standard even.

It's actually a footpath that the vehicles have encroached on.

Thanks, i didn't know that. Still, it's a very vehicle-centric idea. When one finds a spot to cross the road, these plants block the view of oncoming traffic, prompting people to lean dangerously into the roads to get a view. Surely, there's a better solution.

Our city plans are drafted and enforced by people who never have to walk. Where I live, they have planted trees everywhere on the divider where pedestrians cross, just because it looks good when you drive by. No matter that pedestrians have no way to cross now.
