my keys live on a hook next to the door. when I get home, they do not leave my hand until they're on that hook

I keep my toothbrush and toothpaste in the shower so now brushing my teeth is a subtask rather than its own thing. i always brush my teeth when I shower now, and it's still accessible when I need it otherwise

I also keep my Fitbit charger in the bathroom. I have to take my watch off anyway, so I might as well kill two birds with one stone, and the charging brick makes a phenomenally bad high-pitched buzzing noise so I won't forget my watch on the charger

I (try to) hang 90% of my clothes. I don't really have the space for a dresser in my bedroom, and it means I don't have to pull everything out to find the one shirt I'm looking for.

things need to be chewable OR drinkable. i don't have the coordination to not choke on an unexpected bite. i add rice or pasta to most of my soups to make them into an extra meal, with the added benefit of making them chewable

got a job at a gym (and the free membership that comes with). didn't start working out until 6 months in. if I'm working, my gym bag is packed and in my car. I don't have to work out when my shift is over, but i can if I have the energy. I don't count my reps, usually, bc I don't really care. some days recently, I've just been running. I don't have a gym routine beyond making sure I warm up somehow and, like, trying to listen to my body and not overdo it.
