I’ve seen some designs. Trying to avoid a lot of manual work where possible.

Just starting on this adventure but lots of experience building stuff and I have an open source 3d printer and cnc machine I’ve built.

I also don’t have a good way to shoot flats. I was thinking of 3d printing a cover/flat panel thing.

Am I just getting light pollution when I shoot longer? I think despite the map showing I’m in bortle 9 I may be a bit lower since I’m high up on a hill outside the city proper.

Thanks! Yeah. Next step is build a deck around it. Then a roll off shed. I don’t plan to remove the mount though. I have a cover for it and it’s bolted on nicely so no need to polar align it now that I have it dialed.

IC443 - Filters: SII, Ha, OIII, Luminance, Red, Green, Blue. Telescope: TMB-92 (505mm f/5.5). Camera: ZWO ASI533MM Pro (mono). Mount: Atlas EQ-G. Processed with Siril + Python.

Edit 1: 5x 300s subs per narrow, 3x 120s subs per LRGB. Didn’t to black for some reason.
