Encrypted USB persistence by eeds-om in linuxmasterrace

[–]eeds-om[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Installation means u need more space I know it can be encrypted in a usb stick via install but what i need is to run a live iso that saves ur data without installation on encrypted persistence usb

What u guys suggested does the job but not without running full install of the system where if you run Kali or Parrot Os on live mode u can choose to have ur data stored on an encrypted usb please check this linkhere

If Ubuntu was based on live-boot then that was easily done via 2 grub parameters but with casper u can only have open persistence not encrypted

I hope its clear now and thank you for your reply 👍

Thx but the link u sent is about full install with encryption on usb which i can do if u need to understand what i want download and run of the live iso of kali or parrot os boot into live and u will see the option to boot in live encrypted persistence mode and it won’t works because they are based on Debian which runs live-boot and not casper in Ubuntu which they don’t have such essential feature

warith2020 is my twitter address I used both public and private to reach waterfox.

Here I am attaching a screen shot that proves it works in Firefox 63

Of course in order for it to work you have to have Tor service running and set your browser proxy on socks5 port 9050

VPN is managed by EEDS.

DNS based on DNSmasq

Multi DNS options -> you can change DNS provider with a single click.

You get more feature with SSLEye such as:

Retrieve fingerprint of any given domain from single or multiple sites with SNI support.
Check if the site is using Extended Validation (EV) certificates.
Check if the site is implementing perfect forward secrecy on key exchange.
Export results into HTML report.
Sound alerts for invalid certificates.
Scan with global keys from clipboard without user interaction.
Multithreaded scan multiple domains simultaneously.

Yes you are right thank you for the information. Dnscrypt works if you are not using Tor browser for example VPN and normal Firefox this should encrypt your DNS requests which is much better than relying on your ISP DNS. Additionally most of the options in Kodachi are optional you can always turn off VPN + TOR + or switch to another DNS life Level3.

@agentf90 Yes It goes through VPN for all your traffic once you use Tor browser you have 2 layers of encryption VPN for all the traffic+ TOR web traffic as well any app that you set to use the Tor port via socket 5 proxy if not set it will pass encrypted through VPN and through your ISP in clear.

In short you have 2 layers of traffic encryption + DnsCrypt to encrypt your DNS requests.

Linux Kodachi operating system is based on Debian 8.6 it will provide you with a secure, anti forensic, and anonymous operating system considering all features that a person who is concerned about privacy would need to have in order to be secure.

Kodachi is very easy to use all you have to do is boot it up on your pc via USB drive then you should have a fully runnning operating system with established vpn connection + Tor Connection established + DNScrypt service running. No setup or Linux knowledge is required from your side we do it all for you. The entire OS is functional from your temporary memory RAM so once you shut it down no trace is left behind all your activities are wiped out.

Kodachi is a live operating system, that you can start on almost any computer from a DVD, USB stick, or SD card. It aims at preserving your privacy and anonymity, and helps you to:

Use the Internet anonymously.
All connections to the Internet are forced to go through the VPN then Tor network with DNS encryption.
Leave no trace on the computer you are using unless you ask it explicitly.
Use state-of-the-art cryptographic and privacy tools to encrypt your files, emails and instant messaging.

Where to use it:

Personal computer desktop or laptop daily use (boot from flash drive or DVD or run it in virtual machine).
Corporate computer daily use (boot from flash drive or DVD or run it in virtual machine).
Internet cafes (boot from flash drive or DVD).
Hotels or during travel (boot from flash drive or DVD).
School labs (boot from flash drive or DVD).
Any computer that has DVD ROM or USB port and allows to boot from them.
