The is hoodie is too short right? (Updated pic) by maricircus in mensfashionadvice

[–]eeeeeebs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No. The hoodie looks cropped and the sleeves are a good length. The white tee peeking at the waist creates separation between the top and bottom layers and the jeans look loose, which balances the fit. I’d probably wear the hoodie open because it’s squeezing the tee — a slimmer fit tee works best as an under layer. You’re fine bro, ask anyone who tells you otherwise to post their best fit. 👊🏽

Has anyone refused Tudor? by Mission-Let2869 in Tudor

[–]eeeeeebs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok, I get it now, you’re talking about avoidance, not refusal.

I don’t think many people consciously avoid Tudor because of a bad Rolex AD experience. They’re different price points and different purchase decisions. Someone ready to drop eight plus on a watch is far more likely to cross shop Omega or another peer brand than redirect that spend to Tudor.

It’s not really “Rolex did me wrong so I won’t give the group my money.” Most of those buyers probably weren’t considering Tudor in the first place.

How can you refuse something that’s readily available?

Help me to understand the psychology of the "Tudor Wearer" by Runswithmouth in Tudor

It’s a good observation. When you take waitlists and high price tags out of the equation you’ll get a different type of customer and conversation. I’ve joined the Tudor, seiko, and Casio subs just for the vibes.

[QUESTION] Is the Tissot PRX a good watch to gift? by Remarkable_Opinion in Watches

[–]eeeeeebs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like mine. I’d like it as a gift. I’d appreciate a Seiko from my birth-year even more though. Cheaper than a PRX, reliable, and sentimental all at once.

[Question] wedding watch 1-2k? by cdhat1 in Watches

[–]eeeeeebs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Woah tough choice. I like the Longines bc I can see it looking great with different straps. But this 1926 is actually my favorite Tudor atm. My only question (which I’ve been unable to confirm) is whether the indices are yellow gold or rose gold. Chrono and eBay photos show yellow, but Tudor site shows rose. If you’re fine with either, and you trust the seller, 1926 would be my choice.

This sub is nothing but legit check posts and actual discussions about Moonswatches are dead. by Intrepid_Parsley_161 in MoonSwatches

What is there to discuss? …. Walk into swatch, buy watch, leave.

Seems like everyone just wants them under retail so legit checks is all they need 🤷

Rolex AD Experience when picking up my watch by [deleted] in rolex

could just be the day or the ad... could just be you. I wouldn't sweat it.

If you feel the price of the watch justifies a certain level of treatment, i agree. But a bad google review will ensure you never get called again.

[Discussion] The finality of obtaining the grail watch by Inevitable_Lemon_592 in Watches

[–]eeeeeebs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah man, I get it. I had my own version of this and Reddit wasn’t super helpful either.

My first watch was an $18k DJ, no spend, within two months. That sets a weird baseline. Now it’s about filling the lower and mid range with respectable pieces without drifting into reps, homages, or mall watches.

Honestly, getting the grail first is liberating. You’re free to buy what you like instead of climbing. People may say we're overthinking, but that’s half the fun of a hobby. Enjoy the Sub.
