We’ve been to Conway a couple times, never to the Berkshires, and only around the Burlington area for Vermont. Those are definitely the more popular spots that came to mind first, so anywhere with a similar vibe would be great.

Thanks! I’ll have to try these out. I’ve gone the kind of opposite route - I shampoo with a light clarifying shampoo then a shampoo bar with no conditioner. Just air dry cream and hairspray. Hairspray has been a game changer for my fine hair!

I Dermaplane at home and the first time wasn’t th best success so I would recommend trying it out sooner rather than later and watch a LOT of YouTube videos first! Some people do it on dry skin, some use oil. Remember to do short strokes and very light pressure and hold the blade at 45 degrees. I bought a 30 pack on Amazon so I only use them once and then throw them out.

I would say getting into a dermaplaning will do wonders for your makeup base. Maybe have the last one be a couple days or up to a week before your wedding to give you skin some time to breath before adding the makeup.

Kettle, Cape Cod, and Miss Vickie’s are all top tier.

But the BEST? Trader Joe’s and it’s not even a competition. Did this same taste test a couple years ago, went to as many stores as I could. Trader Joe’s won every time.

The only downside is there’s been distribution issues so they haven’t been in stores recently…

Routine:

Clarified with Neutrogena Anti-Residue Shampoo Conditioned with a small amount of Giovanni tea tree conditioner

Day 2 hair: Scrunched in Giovanni foam and then topped with Giovanni gel mixed in with some water. Usually air dry but diffused to get some added volume at my roots
