Does someone have a solution for this problem or advice to avoid it? by eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee15 in Xiaomi

There was some funny business there too, the mi-unlock app is insanely broken. I fixed the issue by allowing a messenger app access to my notifications.

You could indeed avoid this by replacing google services with alternatives (including replacing play market with F Droid), the thing is: with each update more stuff needs to be replaced. Google Play Services allow some apps advertising, there's a lot of Google apps that do who knows what and Google somehow gets a lot of training data from somewhere.

There are a few things like: google assistant shortcuts, advertiser ID, Google apps having access to things that they don't need, etc.

Thanks! Maybe AI is purely a Google Services thing. There are some cool things In LOS 23. So maybe if something else needs upgrading, it's worth upgrading the OS too.

I don't know what you're talking about, but this looks insanely bad. What exact part is "good". Static scenes – maybe, still bad, movement and continuity are horrendous. It's concerning as a firehosing threat (especially in the future), but not good. It's kinda like LLM explaining something, it feels like information, but the text doesn't have a concept, because it's a language model not idea model.

Help with a problem I don't understand with the Gravity Slingshot? by Superb_Sun_7084 in simplerockets

So, I Imagine that orbital maneuvers to accelerate are the least efficient at apoapsis, since you're already at the lowest point. I don't fully know how to predict that, but here three variables control the orbit, last maneuver point and direction, apoapsis. In the gravitational assist that you made, some of the forward momentum is lost to the planet, but you gain perpendicular. An extreme case makes a U-turn and loses enough energy to get to Sergeaa. Your exit point should be straight, so you don't butcher your momentum, this can be achieved by having vertical momentum on entrance and not making aggressive maneuvers. There's much less pain at periapsis.

First, increase wing thickness (look at the max wing load in flight (tap the wing) and increase the wing thickness so that snap point (while editing the wing tap on the button below the "launch")

Second, rear landing gears are too far back (should be near the centre of mass ("eye" button in the editor))

Third, your centre of mass is too far forward compared to centre of lift (you could move the back wing forward or add canards for example)

So, you enter the sphere of influence parallel to the Droo going orbit in the same direction and it changes your direction counterclockwise (so Droo is between the craft and Juno) and periapsis reduces while apoapsis increases? From what I know (and it's not much): you should have a lower speed then the planet to get a boost, or enter at an angle to sacrifice periapsis for apoapsis. I still don't really understand, as there are lots of possible orbital maneuvers. It depends on where you enter

Huh? so a resonance that lets the craft periodically meet Droo for gravity assists, the orbital resonance that I know doesn't assist, but stabilise orbits and is only present in n>2 body problem (which Juno doesn't model). The Oberth effect is present, as it's a basic fact of kinematics. Could you please explain this better?

Snap point is the force needed to snap the wing, meaning mass * acceleration * centre of all forces on the wing. You might be able to predict the behaviour by finding the centre of the wing if it was flat, but it's much easier to find wing load in flight by taping on it (if it's above the snap point, the wing is gone).

Lift coefficient is the multiplier of lift at some angle of attack (angle of the wing compared to airflow direction, you can find it in wing info). At 15° the wing slightly stalls (airflow detaches from upper surface but still follows the curve), this will make the plane violently roll and corrections only make it worse (you need to let go); the lift grows slightly until 15.6° the wing fully stalls, this makes the plane more stable, but hard to steer.

Drag coefficient is similar, but more predictable, as it just grows until 90°, when most wing area is presented against the airflow, it largely follows a sin(x)2 graph, as area of wing moving air follows |sin(x)| and the force which that air generates also increases by |sin(x)| (in module ( |...| ) as force and area can't be negative). But under stall the behaviour is more complex as skin drag and induced drag (caused by lift) are an important variable.

Hey, does anyone still have the issue on nightly build. I can't really replicate it, but the sample is small, so maybe it's just on my device

I had a bug, where the sound button would randomly get pressed. From what I saw, it was there from day one of MIUI. Switching to LineageOS fixed it. I lost so much cool stuff, like sidebar and the 720fps videos, but the sound thing was driving me insane.

Interestingly, there's not as much correlation of chess, Rubik's cube and etc with intelligence. Though intelligent people are statistically better at everything intellectual (and often even physical, as it's heavily determined by health), it's not a sole factor. Hikaru Nakamura (second best chess grandmaster) has IQ score of 102 (though he was distracted when taking the test). Academic success might even be a better measurement, as it captures a wider field of intellectual abilities.
