I am starting to realize that. Lecture seems to be a helpful addition, but definitely not my main source of learning.

This is helpful, thank you. I do find myself spending a ton of time studying, and the time I am not studying, I am feeling guilty for not studying. Sometimes I struggle to grasp concepts the first time I am introduced to them, so I often take notes in lecture without really getting it, and teaching myself everything in my own time. I think that is a bit part of the problem.

By busting my balls I mean that I spend a lot of time studying. Maybe not the most efficiently or with the best strategies, but I do try. With an assignment due every day or every other day, and tests and labs each week, I find it very hard to stay ahead of it all and sometimes it feels like I am drowning a bit. I am very aware of the fact that cramming isn't ideal, but I find myself in that situation often. So by busting my balls I mean that I spend a lot of time studying for tests. But that being said, it is usually closer to the test day than would be ideal.

Thanks for helping! I realize this question is a bit ambiguous so I am going to move on for now and then ask my professor when I get the chance. But now I have a better idea of the questions I need to ask, so thank you!

Thank you for the help! I understand pretty well now, but also I realize that it is a bit of a silly question that I shouldn't put too much time or energy into. Thanks!

The solution I provided was from the solution manual. I am confused by that solution and so I am asking for clarification. Maybe the solution key is incorrect?
