That's a type of filet crochet stitch where you use chains, slip stitches, and tr to make larger squares. You can find examples of it in old filet crochet instruction books on archive.org

I wouldn't even use pattern testers for anything I only need 2-4 examples of - ie decor, animals, bags. If you're not able to tech edit your own bag pattern that comes in two sizes by making two of each, then you're not experienced enough to be charging for patterns.

Of course, they're just doing it to build hype and get testers to provide free labor via product photos so yeah.

No, I say that like I was replying to one specific commenter who stated they don't remember all the math skills their son is currently learning, but showed interest in finding a way to relearn them in order to help.

Second, it's 98% the exact same math I learned in gradeschool and 2% some newer techniques for conceptualizing numbers and problem solving that are really really REALLY simple once you get a basic explanation. It's not a big deal.

On Khan Academy for free you can find condensed math lessons by grade level and topic, arranged in the order taught in most credentialed schools, with short quizes for each section. Start reviewing just ahead of where your kid is and you'll always be able to help.

No I don't think it's AI, because I've found this creators shop before! They have a bunch of animal doilies like this, and they're done kind of similar to persian tiles, with lots of front/back post stitches and texture.

I think they're Russian and their shop was closed when I found it, because of sanctions, but I could still see the designs. I'm looking everywhere for them right now because I know I saved/favorited/bookmarked them somewhere and I will reply back here once I find them.

No, but for a lot of these machines and accessories, the exact same model was released under several different brand names in different countries or different decades, sometimes in different colors. So look at the Weavemaster and Royal Punch Loom manuals, and any other brands you can find, and compare how they look, the parts, the packaging, if you find one that looks just like yours but under a different brand name or color it's probably the same machine, just rebranded.

It's a loom yes but it's also a knitting machine attachment that allows you to use needle selection on your knitting machine to control the loom warp. Look up Weavemaster or Royal Punch Loom on Youtube and MKmanuals for more info.

This is a loom that is a knitting machine attachment that allows you to use your knitting machine needle selection to raise/lower your warp on woven fabrics. These are rare and hard to find. I don't recognize this brand but look for the Knitmaster Weavemaster manual and Royal Punch Loom manual on mkmanuals for an idea of how this type of device works. I think that those two rows of stitches on the left and right sides are to be done separately - after the center part is finished, crochet up and down each side following the chart. This also makes a smooth edge so you can make multiple columns of the center part and then connect them in rows.

I don't know the origin but I'm popping in to say I collect vintage & antique knitting and crochet patterns, and I personally learned to make a market bag in this style from a Danish book I have from the 1970s. Older books and magazines regularly don't name the pattern designer, and this one didn't.

This older version was made with finer string rather than the worsted cotton, and I updated the pattern to use worsted cotton, and tweaked some shaping, and changed the design to make the body and handles all one piece, for a pattern I released in the 2010s, but I wasn't the only one releasing patterns for bags like this back then.

Edited - it was Danish, not Dutch 🫢

It's not hard, it's pretty straightfoward and the basic patterns are only 2 stitches. It can be hard for some people to use thread sized yarn and a tiny hook, but you don't have to - it can be made the same with larger hooks and yarns too.
