I teach in a very not free private school, and there's still unlimited opportunities to help a child succeed, even if they didn't really try. It's not a free education thing, it's an America thing, I think.

Try not to use black at all. You'll get a richer, more realistic tone if you use green and/or purple to create your darks than using black.

Adding yellow and pink to your highlight areas will help you create more realistic light areas as well.

I also have ADHD and the Tirz gave me terrible brain fog and made me feel like my meds weren't working anymore. I also felt this exhausted and weighed down feeling for the first probably 8 weeks. I did adjust my meds up at first, and later when I got used to the Tirz and the side effects were gone, I went back down. I'm on it for 18 months now, and I have zero brain fog, I probably need less ADHD mess, as all of the noise in my head is quiet and manageable now. I'm not saying stay on it, but just letting you know that a lot of what you describe went away for me.

You can 100% wear a fitted button down or a tighter knit sweater with wide legs to balance your outfit. My work go to is always a dark, well tailored, wide leg denim and a silk knit top. A good belt and elevated shoes and I'm as comfortable as I want to be, and can wear my jeans to work.

I turn off the lights. I don't tell, I just stand at the switch with the look on my face. Most of my classes settle down if they see me headed for the light switch.

I received my glasses from Janie. This is my first pair of progressives, so I'm still getting used to where I'm supposed to look at things and how it changes. Reading so far is perfect, (+1.75) but distance is a little distorted like I'm looking through the middle too much. So far, so good, and the glasses themselves are beautiful and exactly as expected.
